Better Humans Group Ltd
The short version: Qubie is a speedcubing timer you can use on your own devices. It's free, with one optional one-time purchase that unlocks extra features — no subscription. It's provided "as is", and it connects to third-party smart cubes and timers that aren't ours.
By downloading or using Qubie ("the app"), you agree to these terms. Qubie is provided by Better Humans Group Ltd ("we", "us").
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Qubie on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these terms and the relevant app store's terms.
Qubie is free to download. It offers a single one-time in-app purchase that unlocks additional features. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — nothing renews and you won't be charged again for it. The purchase is billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account; we never see your card or payment details. You can restore a previous purchase on your devices through the relevant app store, and where the purchase is eligible for Family Sharing it may be shared with your family group. Refunds are handled under the applicable app store's policy.
Qubie can connect to third-party smart cubes and timers (such as GAN, GoCube and StackMat devices). These products are made by other companies and are not ours; we don't guarantee compatibility with any particular model or firmware, and you should follow the manufacturer's own instructions and safety guidance.
Qubie is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that solve times and detections will always be perfectly accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Better Humans Group Ltd will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
The app, its name, design and content are owned by Better Humans Group Ltd or its licensors. Rubik's Cube and third-party cube brands are the property of their respective owners; references to them are for compatibility and identification only.
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. We may suspend or end the service, and you may stop using it at any time by deleting the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
